We are a family owned and operated business and it will be me, Stewart Cowie, who will come to your home to carry out our Leather Repair and Leather Restoration services. We specialise in leather sofa repair and restoration, along with car leather repair and restoration.

We are confident that our methods of cleaning and restoration are the best in the industry and will give your leather the best possible finish after restoration work is carried out. Do you know what type of leather you have on your furniture or in your car?
Aniline Leather
Aniline leather is the most natural looking leather with the unique surface characteristics of the hide remaining visible. Aniline leather is coloured only with dye and not with a surface coating of polymer and pigment. This type of leather is absorbent and soaks in stains and dirt very easily, but after cleaning or restoration, we will apply a protector, which will slow down the absorption rate, giving you a chance to clean up any spills.
Semi-Aniline Leather
Semi-aniline leather is more durable than aniline whilst still retaining a natural appearance. The increased durability is provided by the application of a light surface coating which contains a small amount of pigment. This ensures consistent colour and imparts some stain resistance.
Pigmented Leather
Pigmented leather is the most durable and is used in the majority of furniture upholstery and almost all car upholstery. The durability is provided by a polymer surface coating which contains pigments. The surface coating allows the manufacturer more control over the properties of the leather, e.g resistance to scuffing or fading.
We come across all these leathers on a daily basis and are experts at cleaning, repairing and restoring them.
Care for Leather - Tips for cleaning leather
We strongly advise that you have your leather professionally deep cleaned and protected on a regular basis, at least once per year is recommended. This will ensure that your leather gives you many years of service and will remain looking beautiful!
We strongly advice that in between professional cleans, you do not use any of the following products on your leather.
- Baby wipes
- Waxes
- Oils
- General household cleaners
- Solvents
- Conditioners
All of these products can lead to damage and the weakening of your leather.
Leather Protection
After we have deep cleaned or restored your leather, we will apply our specialist leather protector.
Applying our protector will aid in the future cleaning of your leather and also in the removal of any spillages that your leather has to endure in its day to day life.

Absolutely fantastic job. Stewart worked solidly from 9am until 6pm and totally transformed my two leather sofas. They had been abused by years of sun bleaching, dog climbing over them and general heavy use. I now have two brand new looking sofas. Would HIGHLY recommend this service. Thank you

Absolutely delighted with the deep clean and restoration of my sofa. I was considering buying a new sofa but happy I never as it now looks as good as new. Brilliant service and completed at short notice as I wanted done before Christmas would definitely recommend.

Stewart transformed my leather sofa to look like new . Highly recommend . All scratches from my 2 cats have disappeared , the stitching that was dyed black from wearing denim is now cream again and the worn cracked patches have totally vanished . Wow!!
